Complementary Therapy Diplomas

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology

A theory qualification which is recognized as a pre-requisite for most complementary therapy courses. It opens the door to a wide range of complementary therapy practices and opportunities for further and higher education.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapy Techniques

A theory qualification designed to ensure you are up to date with the latest legislation, practices and knowledge in the world of complementary healthcare. It provides the underpinning knowledge and skills in principles and practice of complementary therapies, business, health, safety and hygiene. A current First Aid Certificate is required before completing this course.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage

A practical qualification which entitles you to practice as a body massage therapist. Content includes classical massage movements and their effects on the body’s systems. You will learn how to positively influence the wellbeing of a range of clients safely and appropriately. As a pre-requisite students must hold:

1. The ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology Diploma or be working towards gaining one in conjunction with this course.

2. The ITEC Diploma in Complementary Therapy Techniques, or be working towards gaining one in conjunction with this course.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy

A practical qualification which entitles you to practice as an aromatherapist. Content includes the safe and appropriate use of essential oils through the mediums of massage, application and inhalation. As a pre-requisite students must hold:

1. The ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology Diploma or be working towards gaining one in conjunction with this course.

2. The ITEC Diploma in Complementary Therapy Techniques, or be working towards gaining one in conjunction with this course.

ITEC accredited individual Unit courses awarding QCF cred-its and individual CPD study days.

Many of the units are accessible individually, so you can build up all the required elements at a pace to suit you. Please contact the Centre for further information.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology

A combined theory and practical qualification which entitles you to practice as a Reflexologist.
