Why Seven Wellbeing
Supporting Butterwick Hospice
Butterwick Hospice Care provides integrated holistic care for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses and their families, bringing support and comfort in life and dignity in death.
The hospice has provided complementary therapies for service users since 1998 and is recognized within the palliative field for excellence in care. Its team of highly skilled therapists has amassed thousands of hours of experience and knowledge of using complementary therapies to enhance the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of seriously ill patients and their families.
Seven Wellbeing is a subsidiary company of Butterwick Hospice Care (BHC). It operates as a social enterprise to generate an income, which is then used to provide free care for patients within the hospice. This wealth of experience and knowledge informs and guides the practice and complementary therapy training available from Seven Wellbeing.
Butterwick Hospice Care works within a framework of clinical governance which supports its staff and partner organizations in delivering a programme of care underpinned by evidence-based ethical practice. As a wholly owned subsidiary of BHC, Seven Wellbeing operates within that framework to ensure- a user-centred approach
- accountability for quality
- high standards and safety improvement in services and care
